SYLLABUS:

The Graduate Program in Science Education (PPGEC, for short) was approved by the Coordination of Superior Level Staff Improvement (CAPES) in 2019, and has been recommended with concept A, with Master's and Doctoral Degree courses, and it is directly attached to the Teaching Area, integrating the Large Multidisciplinary Area. The curricular structure is Academic and face-to-face (on-campus modality), with concentration area in Science Education, consisting of 3 Research Lines: 1) Discourses, cultures and subjectivities in Science Education, 2) Teaching and learning in Science Education and 3) Languages and technologies in Science Education.

The Program intends to train former researchers and the development of research in the field of Science Education with the purpose of investigating educational and social practices that produce knowledge, policies and subjects, in different places, that promote Science Education.
